Strength:

Very stiff bottom bracket; smooth, steel-like ride, excellent handling, great color scheme

Weakness:

ANY trip to the ground will scratch up the beautiful paint job

The magnesium Dogma FP has very unique characteristics for a metal bike: 1)the bottom bracket is stiffer than any bike I've ridden or demo'd including the Colnago Extreme Power (compare them both when hooked up onto a trainer and you'll see what I mean); 2)the bike is NOT "comfortable" in my opinion, but DOES manage to take the sting out of road imperfections thus making the ride for me much more pleasurable...in a way it feels like an incredibly stiff steel bike; 3)the bike tracks extremely well and feels very "planted"...it doesn't feel sluggish at all, just very predictable; 4)while the paint is not so fragile when gravel is kicked up onto it, a trip to the ground will scratch up the paint a great deal. NOTE: for those riders who have been using a Turbomatic saddle with their aluminum frames, you will find that the Dogma dampens the vibrations so much to the extent that the Turbomatic does not bounce me off of it when going over very rough pavement...you know what I mean???!!! Lastly, it IS a race bike; and handles superbly in crits and circuit races. Yeah, the paint has been trashed in a few spots, but the ride is worth it. Race it and you won't want to leave it for a lazy-day ride, either!

Precision, comfort, confidence building.

Weakness:

None that I could find.

I love this bike. It is both stiff and comfortable and I feel like I can go all day on it. This bike gets me motivated to ride and has made me a better rider.

this is my third pinarello had a PrinceSL that broke got a standed dogma as replacement that cracked through the head tube So now I have The FP dogy this is the stiffest by far I find the fp alot harsher then the standed dogma so much so I'm going to change it for a paris carbon

2000 Miles on this Awesome Bike!Ride Quality It is all the sensations that make cycling a joy! If you read the usual bike porn sites like I do you are a huge fan of quality bikes. I got to meet Giovanni Pinarello as our tour group participated in the granfondo Pinarello in July. That even makes it more Special. I got the Blue Paint scheme Not available here that I am aware of!

Weakness:

About 1 Pound Heavier Than some other Foofy bikes but I am 210 Pounds

What can I say If I bought it here in the USA I would have to say I love it. ( It cost so much here) This Bike Rides Like a Dream! Soaks up the uneven pavement and turns it to butter. Stiffer than a Big rider like me can stress this Frame. The FP Fork has the oversized Lower Headset bearingsand makes the Fork not waiver under ripping decents of the Colorado Monument(Tour of the Moon) It is pretty fun to ride a bike this nice. As a pretty hard working 44 year old trying to get fit this sure is a nice treat! If you can swing a bike like this you will love it.
