Great for general riding. It is typical race-geometry so it would work for amateur racing too.

The FSA wheels are a little flexy.

This bike replaced my Trek 5500 that I bought new somewhere around 2001.

The Litespeed handles equally as well as the Trek, but the ride is noticeably better. While the Trek would soak up the big bumps and potholes better than the Litespeed the Litespeed soaks up the smaller bumps (like chipseal roads) better than the Trek. I suppose this is the difference between carbon and titanium.

Campy Centaur component group is comparable to Ultegra, but I prefer it for the ability to jump several cogs in one shift. was a great avenue to buy the bike. It was a subsidiary of Litespeed, but looks like it no longer exists.
