Fast, comfortable, smooths out the bumps, decent climber, light but strong, Di2 is magic.

The SL version commands a price premium.

I wanted an endurance-style frame, carbon, lightweight, with Di2 -- from a Canadian company if possible. The 2015 Norce Valence SL Di2 ticked all the boxes. It isn't incredibly cheap, but for a typical price (for a bike with this spec and tech) it rides like a dream. And for a bike whose purpose isn't really to be a featherweight, it weighed in at 16 lbs when built up (no pedals), which is as close to weight weenie country as I need to be. The stock EA90 SLX wheels roll smoothly and accelerate well -- they're tubeless, but I'm running them with tubes -- and the bike as a whole takes the sting and buzz out of spiderweb cracks on the rural pavement, letting you get on with pedaling and enjoying your ride. The upright geometry is a fairly subtle effect, so, while very comfortable, the bike is well-suited to getting your head and shoulders down out of the wind when you want to. Also: it's beautiful.
