Strength:

At the moment none as far as the company is concerned.

Weakness:

Not making any contact when emails sent and problem detail given - dont seem to care.

I have the full set up of the ULTIMATE for my first bike and a second set up on my third bike fixed to the turbo.
The heart rate will not pair - batteries checked- unit checked against other moniters and whilst other chest belts work the MAVIC does not - mailed a number of times- that when you can find out were to mail but would seem that once bought if it stops working "dont bother us" - all other aspects of the unit work.

Strength:

Good looks. Lots of features for price. Good heart rate monitor.

Weakness:

Lack of average cadence. Doesn't stop calculating soon enough after stop messing up averages. Bulk of cadence unit. Confusing screens. Lack of back light.

The unit is smaller than you think but easy to read. Installation wasn't difficult but the instructions are very poor. The cadence unit is a bit bulky given the separation of speed into the front skewer. It does not have average cadence for some reason. The temp is usually off several degrees. The altimeter is all over the place. The heart rate works well. The combinations one the 5 screens available are not logical. The grade number is delayed more than some other units. The unit takes up to 10 seconds to stop calculating and is hard to make stop when completed.

Strength:

E-skewer speed sensor replaces existing quick-release lever. Elegant, highly adjustable computer mounting bracket. Reliable wireless communication between components--yay! The odometer appears to be highly accurate.

Weakness:

My main problem was with the manual. No product weight specifications given. Precise meanings of various data elements are far from clear. For example, the paragraph labeled "vertical speed explained" does not explain how the computer determines that the bike is no longer executing an "ascension of a pass;" a precise explanation would be helpful. "Stopwatch" apparently means "moving time" (aggregate elapsed time the bike was actually moving since the last reset). Paragraph 8 uses the term "trip distance," but paragraph 22 uses "daily distance" to refer to the same data element. The link between computer designator "ASC" and its description "altitude gain" is not stated (ASCent, presumably?). The diagrams obstruct the instruction text. No online PDF is available, so don't lose the manual. The meaning of flashing-vs-solid "BK" designator on the display is not explained (flashing means no signal from the speed sensor). No troubleshooting section. As another reviewer noted, the odometer cannot be manually specified in the manner prescribed in the manual. It would be nice if custom computer displays could be created by the customer instead of being limited to the five fixed displays.

This is the only computer that I have ever owned so I have nothing to compare it to. I'm pretty excited about it. The speedometer is easy to read, all of the information--speed, heart rate, slope, total ascent, maximum speed--is handy. Included in the above cost is the cadence detector--well worth the money.

Strength:

Sleek design
Stem mount with 2 adjustments for a custom fit.
No zip ties, clean and tidy, but whats the use? Just like my old g/f, looked good on the outside, needs improvement on the inside.

Weakness:

see the review
Directions state to install batts when the unit comes with them.

10 second delay to zero speed is a drag.
Display combos aren't logical
Had to reset the unit in order to set odo
Followed directions in order and odo would not set.
Once odo is set and I change from km to mile, odo is no longer correct.
Temp reading is 5 degrees off on 2 units that I tried.
Was this unit beta tested??? I dont think so.
