User replaceable batteries in the transmitter
Does not seem to work, tried two different models
The first one I bought had a leaky transmitter and failed. I returned it to Sigma and they replaced the whole unit. The second unit does not work. Either the transmitter is fauly or the HRM doesn't work properly. The buttons work intermittently.

Ease of use and set up. Attractive and sturdy construction
transmitter seems to be very sensitive to having adequate amount of moisture in order to send data to the wrist monitor compared to a POLAR unit
Pretty basic set up with timer,clock and current heart rate. Very easy to use and the quality of material is top notch for the price.
