    Strength:

Smooth, tight, and light, especially for the price.

    Weakness:

You can get lighter, but you'll pay considerably more.

Basically identical to Chorus or Record, these are great hubs for the money. The weight is 150g compared to 200+g for mildly cheaper Ultegra, or 100g for Chris King or Hugi which cost twice as much. It spins wonderfully smooth, like Hugis, without the slop or roughness you'll feel in any Shimano unit below DuraAce. Just wonderful for maybe $50. I'm still early in the abuse stage, I doubt I even have a thousand miles on them, but given the smooth and solid feel, I suspect they'll last quite well. IMO, the complete Daytona hubset is one of the highlights of the group.

    Strength:

Beautiful, light, inexpensive, easy to maintain.

    Weakness:

Easily contaminated with water despite using high quality grease and having the hub maintained professionally.

I ordered a Daytona Group with my beautiful Strong Frame (www.strongframes.com), and have been largly happy with it. This hub has been somewhat problematic over the last 2,500 miles. It hasn''t broken, however.
