Weakness:

wear indicator

This is for a 36h Open Sport laced with DT 14ga spokes to a 105 rear hub that I trued and tensioned. The wheel holds up fine, no complaints about weight or strength. However, the continuous external wear indicator is bad, doing what you might suspect - creating a ridge in the brake pad which in turn make the pad stick to the rim after hard braking. The ridge has to be cut off periodically to fix this.
