Strength:

works very well. it's very smooth and hasn't shown any signs of starting to be not-so-smooth.

Weakness:

not as cool looking as it could be

shimano QR's work well for a long time. don't buy those dumb aftermarket ones that JUST look cool.

Strength:

•Low price (like most Shimano gear).

Weakness:

•Like so many other skewers - the levers are too short.
•Not the best looking there is, but hey - it's Shimano!

Not bad, but the best thing is you can look around and get them discounted like everything Shimano makes. They work, but don't get them thinking they'll dress up the looks of your bike too much!

These skewers work fine. I have these on every set of road wheels I own except one. All are good except one, on my training wheels. That one is very chewed up on the outside, and the one side also doesn't turn anymore. I'd suggest that if you have the money, shell out the bucks for the Dura-ace skewers. They're probably sturdier, and more reliable.
