Clement Strada LLG Tires - Clincher

Available At:
Strada LLG

The lightweight hard-wearing Strada LGG steps up to a supple 120 TPI casing for an even better ride quality. Despite the new casing Clment's tried and true chevron shoulder texture remains the same for proven cornering traction in all weather conditions while the totally slick center tread minimizes rolling resistance for speed on the straight-aways. This 120 TPI version also uses a dual compound construction placing a softer rubber toward the sides and a harder rubber in the middle to further improve the tire's balance of traction and acceleration. Available sizes 700c x 23mm 23-622 ISO 700c x 25mm 25-622 ISO and 700c x 28mm 28-622 ISO . Color All Black. 250g

Strength:

Roll and corner well, durable, competitively priced

Weakness:

I forgot to weigh them to compare to other 28c tires. Even if they are a bit heavy that is how the weight vs durability balance works.

I recently purchased the 28c version of these and they have been great! They only have about 260 miles on them but I have ridden them over (or through) pavement, gravel, dirt, mud, and snow. They roll very well on pavement and are tough enough to handle the rougher roads around the Keweenaw.

I have already recommended the Strada LGG 120 TPI tires (in different widths) to several people. The 28c tires are great training tires and give me peace of mind when I decide to take the path less traveled. I will most likely need new racing tires this year as well and will probably try out the 23c or 25c version. Keep up the good work Clement!

Similar Products Used: Continental Gatorskins—Clements are less expensive, still durable, and seem to have better ride quality.
