Durable. Light weight. Spin true and fast. Easy self-maintenance. Technical Assistance.

Should be available at more locations.

I live in an urban setting, and to get to my workout ride in the hills, I have
to traverse some very tough, varied surface road conditions, from torn up roads with potholes,
to gravel laced asphalt. I mention this only because after 3000 miles, my DT Swiss wheels
are still straight, true, and spin like a dream. If they can handle what they aren't supposed to,
how well do they perform on good roads? Did I mention light, thus the number 1450,
the number of grams, 1450 g - 3.2 lbs. The ball bearings are sealed stainless so these things fly, up, down or flat.
I can't detect any flex even at high speed cornering, but I only weigh 148 lbs. Easy to clean?
The spokes are anondized with
flat blades, the rims clear finish with stickers, and the rear hub comes off the wheel with a push from both thumbs, to enable you to re-grease the rear freehub ratchets and springs easily yourself. If over time the freehub gets a little worn down
by the cogs, it can be reconditioned with a little filing or easily replaced at a very reasonable price.
And the best thing? Not even
the wheels themselves, but the rapid, detailed response from their technical people for any question
you can imagine about their product. When was the last time that happened to you?
