Price Paid:  $0.00 at eBay

Favorite Ride:
Monitor Pass

Bike Setup:
Custom frame with 200 mm cranks.

Summary:
I had to post a review to offset what the other gentleman said about the elaso-gel. There are about 5 things you have to do to protect the elaso-gel coating on the roller. The 2 most important are: 1 always keep your tire presure above 100 psi; and 2 NEVER use your brakes. I got my trainer in December and I've already put 400 miles on it with NO problems.

Strengths:
Since the trainer partically uses your body weight, it has the most realistic road feel of any trainer I've used. It's quiet.

Weaknesses:
Mine doesn't have a remote resistance switch, but I can add this as an upgrade.

Similar Products Used:
I've owned 3 sets of rollers and 3 different trainers.

Price Paid:  $0.00 at Gift

Favorite Ride:
A level club ride

Bike Setup:
GT ZR5.0 with Open Pro rims laced to Hugi 240's

Summary:
Great trainer. Starting my second season on it. Smooth, can be set for easy spinning, or real high for a killer workout. 5 setting, all available on the handlebar. I've used the same tyre on it two years in a row, I think that the tyre I use is noisy, b/c the unit seems quite, but the tyre is loud.

Strengths:
Five setting
Smooth
Steady

Weaknesses:
Loud? or just my tyre?

Price Paid:  $150.00

Summary:
While it worked it worked great. One month after the purchase the elastogel started to wear away, I contacted Elite and the elastogel isn't sold as a spare part!! So I spent $150 on a trainer that I was only able to use 1 month. Dont buy this elastogel crap!

Strengths:
While it worked, it was very silent.

Weaknesses:
Elastogel.

Similar Products Used:
Fan trainer.
