Argonaut Cycles Creates Custom Carbon Road Bikes

Road Bike Video

We met Ben Farvar three years ago at the 2009 San Diego Custom Bicycle Show where he was showing off some really exciting cyclocross bikes (check it out here). At that point, they were making only steel frames, but they’ve since made the transition to carbon. Not because it makes a good story, but because it makes the best bicycles.

What sets Argonaut apart from many of the custom carbon builders you find today? They’re one of the few who are making their own carbon parts. In addition, all tooling used to make those parts are fabricated inhouse as well. Keeping tight controls over the entire process. Everything is done right there in the Pacific Northwest, out of their Portland facility or in nearby White Salmon, Washington.

Check out this video they released just yesterday. Cruise on over to their revamped website,, to get more information or to contact Ben and his team directly.
