The Cane Creek El Rosado eeBrakes marks the first limited edition of the brake that the company has released since introducing the eeBrakes G4 in April of 2018.

Cane Creek has announced Cane Creek El Rosado eeBrakes limited edition colorways, a new limited edition of their acclaimed eeBrake G4 in a black and magenta. The Cane Creek El Rosado eeBrakes will come as a set, which also includes an eeNut preload assembly and eeBarKeep bar end plugs in matching black and magenta. Price is $700 for the set.

Cane Creek El Rosado eeBrakes are an ultra-light, high performance, rim brake developed by acclaimed component designer Craig Edwards and are assembled by hand in Cane Creek’s facility just outside of Asheville, North Carolina. The eeBrake G4 is the fourth generation of the brake featuring 100% CNC machined parts, a wider design optimized for 22mm-28mm rims, a stiffer black arch spring, a revised one-piece center adjuster with built in resistance for easier use, and ghosted laser etched graphics.

The Cane Creek El Rosado eeBrakes marks the first limited edition of the brake that the company has released since introducing the eeBrakes G4 in April of 2018. Three previous limited editions of the third generation eeBrakes called El Dorado, El Chulo and El Diablo were released over the last two years and have become a hot commodity for riders due to their limited production.

“With the first limited edition of the G4 brakes we wanted to do something really special,” said Sam Anderson, product manager for Cane Creek. “When we saw those magenta parts and how awesome they looked with the black we knew we had found it. The [Cane Creek El Rosado eeBrakes] aren’t only going to be best-in-class at stopping your bike, they’re going to stop people in their tracks when they see them.”

The Cane Creek El Rosado eeBrakes set is available with both regular and direct mount brakes and all orders must be placed by September 21, 2018, with expected delivery in November 2018.
