Cannondale Topstone

The Cannondale Topstone gravel bike rolled out today. Named after a favorite dirt road section near Cannondale’s global headquarters in Connecticut, the Cannondale Topstone is billed as a capable and versatile gravel road rig with a reasonable price that ranges from $1000 to $2000 depending on build.

Cannondale Topstone

Built for big miles on rough gravel roads, the Cannondale Topstone boasts confident rider position, nimble handling and grippy high-volume tires that make it an ideal weekend tourer, an all-weather commuter, or simply a comfortable all-around road bike.

The light and smooth-riding SmartForm C2 Alloy frame offers plenty of clearance for 700c tires up to 42mm wide. A full carbon fork with a tapered steerer and a 12mm thru-axle provide a precise-steering front end, while disc brakes on all models ensure consistent control.

For a comfortably sporty riding position, Topstone features similar stack and reach measurements to Cannondale’s endurance road bike, the Synapse. It also has Cannondale’s OutFront Geometry, which pairs a slack head angle with a 55mm fork offset, to deliver a combination of high-speed stability and quick-handling agility that’s ideal tackling mixed terrain and rough road surfaces.

Other features include internal cable routing for a dropper seatpost, mounts for top tube storage, and multiple mounts for carrying three bottles or large frame bags.
