Cinelli Laser The New Red Hook Criterium Champion

News

Dear Cinelli Friends,

Last Saturday, 15th October, Neil Bezdek on a fabulous prototype of Cinelli Laser absolutely dominated the 2nd RHC Milano race, taking first overall, fastest lap, and both race primes, becoming the new Red Hook Criterium Champion.

Great result also for Chas Christiansen from our Cinelli Mash team, who closed his first attempt to this race in an incredible 6th position, out of 80 fearsome high-level riders, only 2’’ from the first.

The Red Hook Criterium is an unsanctioned race held late at night on very technical courses of industrial street placed areas,
two city format till now, New York and Milano.

This cycling race consist of semi-professional ‘roadies’, track racers, bike messengers, and urban cyclists competing over 18 laps for a 27 Km total length.

Track bikes are mandatory requiring riders to possess both track and street tuned handling skills and a high level of fitness.

After almost twenty years from the last race, the Laser directly returns to the highest place of the podiums,
reconfirming itself the most winning track steel bicycle in history of cycling.

With the same frame construction philosophy and the newest Columbus Spirit steel tubeset consolidating it’s great potential with a considerable prove of our high end product quality and performance level, as well as our true and passionate commitment with this amazing fixedgear world and track scene.

Glad to share this further win with you in order to promote a stronger cycling culture all over the world.
