Dream Bike: $21K Storck Aernario Signature Edition

New Product Road Bike

Looking for a place to unload all those capital gains after Wall Street’s banner 2013 run? Perhaps a new dream bike is in order. This week’s candidate is the new Storck Aernario Signature Edition, a beautiful roadster built to celebrate company founder Marcus Storck’s 50th birthday.

Dressed tip to toe in ultra-lightweight components, this weight weenie’s wet dream tips the scale at just 11.9 pounds. The frame itself is only 790 grams. Parts spec includes a Dura-Ace Di2 drivetrain, custom Lightweight Meilenstein Obermayer wheels, Schwalbe Ultremo tires, Storck PowerArms G2 cranks, Scapula CT fork and THM Fibula brakes. And of course every frame and fork is hand polished and signed by Marcus himself.

Asking price for all this goodness is €15,999, or about $21,600. And you better hurry. Only 50 of these dream bikes will be made. More info at www.storck-bicycle.de

The most bland looking $21,000 superbike. Take away the Lightweight wheels, it can almost pass as a Chinese cookie cutter frame
