This past year, Specialized collaborated with the Red Hook Criterium series to develop personalized bikes and gear for each edition of the race. Each design pays homage to a host city: Milan, Barcelona, London, and Brooklyn. Ready for some serious bike porn? Scroll down.
Milano
First up, the Milan edition. This bike was designed by Erik Nohlen, who was the mind behind many of Specialized's new adventure oriented projects. His notable achievements include bikes like the AWOL and completely revamped Sequoia.

Brian "Swiz" Szykowny drew inspiration from three different camo patterns, Spanish artist Gaudi, and Sun Tsu'z "The Art of War" for this Barcelona themed bike.
Barcelona - Brian "Swiz" Szykowny
Brian Szykowny is perhaps best known by the nickname Swiz. He's an industrial designer at Specialized by day, but has also created some of the most popular bikes on Instagram. For this Barcelona-themed project, he drew on different military camo patterns, Spanish artist Gaudi, and Sun Tzu.

London - Jon Takao
Jon Takao works in the Specialized footwear division as an industrial designer. For this London edition track bike, he pulled inspiration from the gates of Buckingham Palace. Jon also pulled elements from the Queen's guard in Alice of Wonderland. And while it's not obvious in the photos, that's real gold leaf on those faux lugs.
