Between the whole spandex look and the shaved legs, road biking gets a bad rap as being too serious. If only the general public knew what kind of miscreants we turn into when mud and alcohol are involved. Case in point: The 2016 Singlespeed Cyclocross World Championships in Portland, Oregon. This bacchanalian festival is perhaps the wildest race in the world. As always, the UCI rulebook was gleefully cast aside, beer was mercilessly hucked, and the good times rolled.
