New from Feedback Sports – Velo Hinge, Pro Truing Stand and Velo Column

Feedback Sports had quite a few new products on display at Interbike this year. They have a new pivoting bike rack that holds the bikes vertically and maximizes space by allowing you to swing the bikes closer to the wall. The Pro Truing Stand gets some nice updates. The Velo Column is a nice vertical rack for indoors with a sleek ano aluminum finish.

Velo Hinge

The new Velo Hinge from Feedback Sports is a pivoting wall hook that allows you to mount the bikes vertically in it and then swing them to the left or right, thus saving space. The design is very simple and the hook folds away when not in use. There is a rear wheel bumper that keeps the bike from swaying that mounts to the wall where the rear tire contacts it.

Velo Hinge specs:

  • Powder coated steal
  • 7.25” X 3.5” X 0.63” (185mm X 90mm X 16mm)
  • Load Capacity: 50lbs
  • Assembled to pivot left (changeable)
  • 3 year warranty

The MSRP of the Velo Hinge is $24.99 and it will be available by the end of October 2013.

Pro Truing Stand

The Pro Truing Stand from Feedback Sports is a one arm design that allows unrestricted wheel access. It will allow the mechanic to true wheels up to 29″ without removing the tire from the stand. It has a precision single spring tip indicator for checking lateral and radial rim position, a disc brake rotor truing slot and you can check wheel dish by simply flipping the wheel. It comes with a stable base and bench mount adapter as well as 12mm and 15mm axle adapters. It is easily portable and mounts to Feedback brand work stands.

Pro Truing Stand specs:

  • Max wheel diameter: 29” with tire
  • Base included. Footprint 10.25”X 8.5” (265mm X 215mm)
  • Base weight = 5.8lbs (2.6kg)
  • 4” X 6” (101mm X 152mm) bench mount included
  • Red anodized aluminum arm/ steel base
  • 3 year warranty

The MSRP of the Pro Truing Stand is $99.99 and it will be available around December 1, 2013.

Velo Column

The Velo Column is the latest floor to ceiling indoor storage rack from Feedback Sports. It is a a spring loaded column that holds 2 or 4 bikes (with an option add-on for 4). The arm positions are independently adjustable for angled top tubes and it has soft rubber cradles to hold the bike safely.

The height of the Velo Column is adjustable from 7 feet (2.1m) to 10 feet (3.0m) and installs easily without drilling any holes. It comes with an adapter for open joist ceiling applications. The main column itself is made of anodized aluminum and looks very sleek.

Velo Column specs:

  • Color: SILVER
  • Height 7” (2.1m) to 10” (3.0m)
  • Load capacity 160lbs(73kgs) = (40lbs (18kg) per cradle set)

  • 3-year warranty
Our Take:

We have been using Feedback Sports products for years and we can attest to their quality and usability. The Velo Hinge is one of those products that makes you wonder why someone didn’t think of it sooner. The $24.99 price makes it something anyone can afford. The Pro Truing Stand is loaded with features and the fact that it works with any size axle and any size wheel make it very appealing for the home mechanic or shop owner. The Velo Column has elegant lines and would look good in almost any living room.
