Alberto Contador (right) and company get in some early season training miles.

In his on-going quest to regain the crown of world's No. 1 stage racer, Spaniard Alberto Contador will head into the 2014 season with a quiver of Specialized race bikes at his disposal. Here's an in-depth look at his options.

Recently, Contador and the rest of his Tinkoff-Saxo teammates came together in Gran Canaria for the official team launch and a week of hard training. Sadly, we weren't able to join, but we did manage to track down photos of the bikes Contador and company will be riding this year.

Expect the Tarmac SL4 to be No. 1 on that list. It's a lightweight and stiff all-arounder that climbs well and accelerates quickly. No. 2 is the Venge, an aero road machine that will see action on flat days. Finally, there is the Roubaix, a bike Tinkoff-Saxo riders will break out for the likes of the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. For a closer look, click through this expansive photo gallery.
