Making it's debut at the London Olympic games, Swedish brand POC made available the Tempor time trial helmet at this year's Interbike. The Tempor is POC's first step towards entering the highly contested road racing market. The unique aero helmet was developed with Sweden's Gustav Larsson, using extensive simulations including advanced aerodynamics and kinetics. The Tempor puts into account the wind drag not only over a rider's head, but also the shoulder area, essentially looking at the rider as one body mass. By not isolating the head from the rest of the body, POC found an organic shape that was refined to integrate perfectly with a rider's position.

"We are extremely excited, enthusiastic and humble moving in to the Road Bike Scene. It´s a category that we deliberately put on hold until we had the time and capacity. Both this first Time Trial helmet Tempor, as well as other products in process to come, are projects where we have been able to invest more in than ever before." says Stefan Ytterborn, Founder and CEO POC

The Tempor is available now, in a the highly visible POCito Orange seen above, as well as a more muted Uranium Black. Sizes available are M-L and L-XL. The lid will MSRP for $380.
