Rolf Prima sponsors triathlon in Cottage Grove, OR

News

Eugene, OR – Rolf Prima, the premier wheel manufacturer based in Eugene, OR, will sponsor a Sprint and Olympic distance triathlon for individuals and relay teams on July 24th.

The Rolf Prima Tri at the Grove in Cottage Grove, located 30 minutes south of Eugene, has attracted local and national pro triathletes since it was first announced in January.

“When we started talking with the local organizers to sponsor the Tri at the Grove,” said Rolf Prima owner, Brian Roddy, “we knew this would be an opportunity to put on a great homegrown race. It is a perfect course for racers.”

The Rolf Prima Tri at the Grove will be held at Cottage Grove Lake and features a beautiful, calm lake for the swim and roads with low-to-no traffic for the bike and run. Racers can get advice on training, nutrition and equipment from local and national triathletes at a panel Q&A planned for the evening prior to the race.

Rolf Prima is pleased to be a triathlon sponsor, Roddy said. “Everyone who works here races in one form or another – triathlon, road and cross. You’ll see some of our employees out there racing at the Rolf Prima Tri at the Grove.”

Put it on your calendar! If you’re not racing, come volunteer and be part of the fun.
