Wisconsin-based bike rack maker Saris is offering a trade-in deal at the upcoming Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California. From April 14-17, event attendees can visit the Saris tent to exchange a used bike rack (any style, any brand) for a new Saris rack.
Saris staff will take used roof, trunk or hitch racks off customer’s hands and provide up to 50% off select Saris racks. Attendees who don’t have an old rack to trade in can still get 20% off a new rack during the four-day festival of all things cycling.
Customers will have the choice of upgrading to the SuperClamp 2-bike, SuperClamp 4-bike, Freedom 2-bike, Freedom 4-bike, and the SUPERBones. A select number of SuperClamp racks will be fat bike compatible out of the box. There are only a limited number of racks available. Hours are 9am to 5pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 9am to 3pm on Sunday.
