We usually don’t get all in a tizzy about socks. But this new offering from the folks at Showers Pass caught our attention. Building on its already popular Crosspoint waterproof socks collection, the Oregon-based company has released three new styles of socks to prevent cold, wet weather from putting a damper on time spent outdoors.

While they may look and feel like regular socks, the Crosspoint Waterproof Socks are fully windproof and waterproof, thanks to a 3-layer construction.

Other features include a wear resistant knit exterior, a seamless waterproof breathable Artex membrane, and a moisture wicking lining. There’s a Coolmax lining on the WP Crew and Hi-Viz Crew, and Merino wool lining on the WP Wool Crew. The result is a sock that feels like a sock, yet protects like a rain bootie, meaning you don’t have to choose between breathability and keeping your feet dry.

Price ranges from $35-$39. For more info visit www.showerspass.com.
