Smith Optics has provided a sneak peak of their new Attack sunglasses that are slated to be available this July. The new model is first in Smith's line to use Mag Technology to attach removable arms to its lens, something that Smith hinted to be a replacement of their current PivLoc technology.
Much smoother and easier to use in comparison to Smith's PivLoc interface, the new system uses magnets in a clamp at the front of the arms to slide over a slot in the lens and lock around it.

Once locked on, the arms still hinge per usual, allowing easy storage of the glasses. The new Attack will retail for $250, and come with a ChromaPop primary lens, a second low-light or clear lens, a clamshell foam case with zipper to house the glasses and spare lens, and a cleaning cloth. Replacement lenses will be available for $60, or $40 for clear lenses.
