We know. Most of you already understand how the jerseys of the Tour de France work. But just in case anyone out there doesn’t, here’s an easy to follow video from our friends at the Global Cycling Network that breaks it all down.

And even if you are a Grand Boucle savant, do you know how much winning the race is worth? How about the white jersey prize? Or how many King of the Mountain points are on the line on a Cat. 4 climb versus an Hors Categorie ascent? That’s all here, too. It’s also worth noting that 1 euro equals 1.3 dollars since our U.K. friends don’t do the conversion math for us. Bottom line, Chris Froome and his Team Sky helpers are about to get a whole lot richer.

Think a Tour de France team is just nine riders gutting it out on the roads toward Paris? Maybe way back when. But in the 100th running of this prestigious race, a Tour team constitutes a massive amount of man (and horse) power. Check out this video straight from France that provides a unique inside look at all the moving parts (and rolling wheels). There are peeks inside the team bus, tech truck, and support cars, and an explanation of who goes where when. Norman Schwarzkopf would be proud.
