It was announced recently that multi-time US Pro Triathlon champion and 2009 ITU long-course World Champion Timothy O'Donnell has signed onto the powerhouse Trek/K-Swiss triathlon team. After a highly successful 2012 season where he won a second US Professional 70.3 Championship and several podium finishes, O'Donnell looks to carry the momentum into 2013.

"We're proud to welcome such a great athlete into the Trek family," said Trek Triathlon Brand Manager Michael Mayer. "Timothy's highly analytical approach and perseverance give him results that really make him stand out as one of the top pros in the world, making him a perfect fit for Trek/K-Swiss. We're excited to provide the support of Trek's dedicated race shop, and can't wait to see what he can accomplish aboard a Speed Concept."

O'Donnell has set the Ironman San Juan 70.3 for his debut aboard Trek's Speed Concept 9 Series equipped with Campagnolo Super Record EPS.

"I'm truly excited to announce my new sponsorship agreement with Trek," said Timothy O'Donnell. "To represent Trek, an iconic American cycling brand with an outstanding pedigree and history of racing success, is a tremendous opportunity in my triathlete career. I'm looking forward to working with Michael, Brandon, and Mark and the entire Trek team... not to mention setting some blistering bike splits on the Trek Speed Concept 9 Series this season!"
