Video: How To Set Up Cleats For Clipless Pedals

How To Video

It seems straight forward enough. You just got a new pair of pedals and cleats. Now all you need to do is mount the pedals to your bike, affix the cleats to your shoes, and start pedaling.

Alas as anyone who’s mounted a pair of clipless pedal cleats knows, it’s not that easy. With both side-to-side and fore-aft adjustment, getting cleats set up just right can be a tricky task that involves lots of trial and error — and sometimes a fair bit of frustration.

To help ease the proverbial pain, our friends at the Global Cycling Network have put to together a helpful video with some great tips for mounting cleats. For this example they’re using the industry standard Shimano Dura Ace pedals and cleats (which we’re big fans of, by the way).
