Arguably the most common injury to befall cyclists, knee pain is a true ride wrecker. And if allowed to persist, it might even keep you off the bike for extended periods of time. That's why even a slight twinge should be taken seriously, lest it be allowed to worsen. On bike position is the most common culprit of knee pain. Saddle height and cleat position are often the cause of discomfort. Pushing too big a gear can also bring on problems. To find out how to mediate these problems, as well as other potential issues, check out this helpful video from our friends at the Global Cycling Network. And remember that if knee pain persists and/or worsens over time, it's time to see a specialist.
