Wahoo ELEMNT MINI

The MINI isn’t a big deal if you’re a data-hungry elite bike racer, but it is a big deal if you’re looking for a simple and reliable means of capturing ride data to chase fitness goals or ride with your friends on Strava.

Wahoo Fitness has introduced the ELEMNT MINI, the latest in its collection of innovative and easy-to-use bike computers. Joining the flagship ELEMNT, and the aerodynamic ELEMNT BOLT GPS cycling computers, the new ELEMNT MINI is a standalone wireless bike computer with an economical $100 price.

When used with the ELEMNT companion App, the ELEMNT MINI is able to capture a full suite of ride data such as cadence, heart rate, and call/text notifications. It also enables friends or family members to follow ride progress with Wahoo’s newly enhanced Live Track capability.
Wahoo’s improved Live Track feature enables others to monitor the user’s current and traveled locations in real-time on a map, along with any data (speed, heart rate, cadence) being transmitted to their cycling computer.

For less than 100 bucks, the MINI delivers three customizable data fields like speed, distance, time, heart rate and cadence, and full GPS-based ride data by pairing it to the Wahoo Companion App, for upload to Strava, RideWithGPS, or wherever else your heart desires. Oh, and 300 hours of battery life.

In addition to this functionality, the ELEMNT MINI carries Wahoo’s signature user-friendliness due to seamless integration with the ELEMNT Companion App. Originally introduced in 2016, this companion app streamlines how consumers interact with their bike computer, simplifying setup, customization and connectivity.

For $99 you get the ELEMNT MINI and a Wahoo Speed sensor. The unit is also compatible with Wahoo’s Speed, RPM (Cadence) and TICKRx (Heart Rate) sensors, which are sold separately.

Sticking close to its namesake, the ELEMNT MINI is equipped with a streamlined, two-button interface and a 1.8” diagonal LCD screen, yielding a smaller size that tips the scales at a feathery 31.2 grams. It is designed to seamlessly connect with all Wahoo sensors including the RPM Speed Sensor (included with the ELEMNT MINI), the RPM Cadence Sensor, and the TICKR Heart Rate Monitor (sold separately) for cyclists.

The Wahoo ELEMNT MINI will be available for sale beginning on August 1 at select specialty retailers and on www.wahoofitness.com.
