Aerodynamics, low weight, and ride quality were the primary design drivers for the new Wilier Cento10AIR aero road bike.

The Cento10AIR’s IMACT FRONT has 2.86% more frontal area than the Cento1AIR, but has an 8% improvement in aerodynamics efficiency, claims the Italian bike maker.

Rather than focusing on the front end, the frame has been designed to maximize complete bike efficiency, says Wilier. The IMPACT FRONT maintains the bike’s handling characteristics, meaning there is no sacrifice to riding an aerodynamic bicycle.

The new integrated aero bar ALABARDA allows you to run shifter cables inside the frame.

Utilizing information gathered from the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, Wilier has taken a holistic approach to aerodynamics. The ALABARDA integrated bar and stem is a new design that enhances wind-cheating ability. In combination with the wider fork legs found on the Cento10AIR, wind turbulence is decreased.

By using direct mount brakes, Wilier have ensured the Cento10AIR can accept up to 28mm tires.

Like other recent Wilier frames, The Cento10AIR uses a balanced design in an effort to ensure every frame size feels and rides the same. From the XS to the XXL, the tubes are resized to match the frame.

The Cento10AIR will be available in U.S. in two complete build options, and two frameset options. The Cento10AIR Dura Ace 9100 with RS21 wheels and Alabarda integrated bar/stem will retail at $6949. Cento10AIR Ultegra Di2 with RS21 wheels and Alabarda integrated bar/stem is $6399. Frameset with Alabarda is $4499, or without Alabarda for $3749.
