Long known for their popular mountain bike tires, WTB has been expanding their offerings for road and cross bikes recently. They have even gone so far as to develop a new standard of road tire, with their Road Plus tire called the Horizon that was released a few months ago.
WTB calls the new Exposure an "elite level" road tire that is designed to walk the balance between fast pavement performance and all terrain ability. The Exposure has a smoother tread pattern than past offerings, showing their expanded commitment to the road market. This tire has an all-new, multilayered construction casing that is road tubeless compatible and was created to delivers a "soothingly smooth ride quality without deteriorating under varied conditions".
The Exposure has a supple casing with a TCS Aramid bead, road tubeless compatibility and comes in two sizes: 700x30c (345 grams, claimed weight) and 700x34c (370 grams, claimed weight).
Both sizes of the Exposure are available now with a suggested retail price of $79.95.
