This is a picture of my 1998, 60th Anniversary, Schwinn Paramount Ti.

* 56cm with Full Dura-Ace 9 speed components.
* Mavic Open Pro red 32 spoke rims, built from Dura-Ace 25th anniversary hubset.
* Michelin Pro Race 2 tires.
* Alien titanium seat post.
* Litespeed titanium stem.
* TTT handlebars.

As a long time fan, and owner, of Schwinn's (I have/owned 8 Schwinn's) I have to say that is one purdy ride. Schwinn's rule. Paramounts forever!

Thanks for the comment on this bike.
I bought it brand new off of eBay back in 2001 and it has a very nice ride quality.
I bought another of this ti frameset off of eBay a couple of months ago. It's 2002 in blue and once I find some paint to do some touch up work, I'll probably build it up as well.

I'm curious about the fork, what material is it?

If I had a bike like that, I'd just maintain/replace the components and gladly ride it into the next millenium.

I now know my next frame will be titanium, like my mtb (1992 Kona). I was thinking... maybe carbon, but it's just not me. Ti it will be.
