Size small set up for trainging rides with Ultegra hubs/Campy rims and seat bag.

Centaur 10 speed shifters mated to Ultegra 9 speed derailleurs through Sram cassette/chain work like a dream. A beautiful mutt if I say so myself.

Set for training all right: I doubt such a low handlebar is legal for racing as it overlaps the wheel and I think there is a rule about that. No way I'd go on a trining ride with such a low front end. It's got to be good for 5 hours rides toward the Mecca as you would'nt need to step off and pray! Ha ha!

Actually it doesn't overlap the wheel at all. The camera angle is to blame for that. And there are no restrictions as per the USCF rules regarding handlebar height or drop.

This bike is totally raceable. I just happen to be really flexible and have very long arms for my height. Trust me the bike fits like a glove and is very stable at speed.

Lovely.
I rated the picture 5 because you did not show the drive side...
Are you pulling my leg or is this drivetrain set up working really nicely?

Thanks!

Yeah I know. The driveside pic wasn't as clean looking as the non-drive.

As far as the drivetrain, yeah it works really well. Better than I thought it would actually. I didn't use the Jtek Shiftmate, instead I just used the HubBub.com method of changing the cable routing and it works really well. The secret is you have to use Campy 10 shifters with Shimano 9 derailleurs and cassette. You adjust the rear derailleur so that the extra click is either after the highest or lowest gear (I chose highest), and then the most important part is sitting down and really getting the cable tension right. Once it's set right the shifting is flawless. And the trimable front derailleur is simple to set up.
