Before and After

1986 Nishiki International. This baby is 18 years old and has been used for everything from Triathlons to Cross riding. Now built back up (after having a cracked drop out rewelded and a hole in the chainstay filled). 20 lb 3 oz of comfort!

The Nishiki is the daily commuter built out of older parts.

love it! you gotta keep the old bikes around. i have newer, "better" bikes, but the old steel trek (circa 1988) has a special place in my heart and i will never get rid of it.

ps - like the paint on the new bike too!

I say it's a good-lookin' honest bike. In this case color-blindness works.

Breathing new life into something old is a good thing. Nice job! For the record, I like the color scheme.
