Strength:

Bulletproof: well built, price, adjustablity.

Weakness:

Weird rear facing fork. Less cache than other bent tandems.

This bike feels and looks solid and bulletproof. The bike is extremely comfortable, especially compared to our two wedgie tandems, and it adjust easily to different stokers and captains. There was no adjustment since we are experienced tandemers. The handling, though different feeling, is predictable and confidence inspiring on fast downhills. Note that mine is the 2002 edition with the great Avid mechanical disc brakes, top loading front stem and RX style handlemars, nine-speed cluster, and "ride-off" wheel stand. The drivetrain shifts very easily, even under pressure (I don''''t even have to announce shifts as I do on our wedgies.) and, as I wrote, the brakes are terrific. Prices are soft, so shop around. Why pay double for the next least expensive bent tandem? Great customer support, too. You can IM with the owner, Chad Ash on the website.
