Strength:

Great components, light for cro-molly

Weakness:

XTR front deraileur doesn't shift as crisp as it should. 44t Richey Logic big ring isn't big enough to really push on screaming downhills, Panaracer 1.5 slicks seem small

I bought this bike from my local shop who said it was a custom rig the distributor had. I got it for a great price: $2000. I was kind of disappointed it didn't have a threadless headset, not that its made any real difference in the bike's performance. My wife loves it! I've finally gotten her to ride. I wish I had set the bike up with drop bars and STI shifters and a 53t chain ring instead of the mountain set up with flat bar & XT shifters and a mountain crankset since most of my riding has been on roads. I do like the 26" Rhino lite rims, but I need to go with 1.9 or 2.0 slicks instead of the 1.5 that are on it. Overall its a great bike. The tandem experience is great. I have a connondale road bike and 2 mountain bikes, but I find myself riding the tandem more because my wife can participate. I even bought a trail-a-bike. Great for bike paths where there is no traffic.
