Strength:

Great looking frame, softride for the stoker makes riding fun

Weakness:

We''''ve gotten lots of flats, but I attribute that to bad tires which I''''m switching out

A fun, fun tandem to ride- Not as bad on the uphills as I thought and watch out on the downhills. Also, does really well on eating up curvy roads (Hwy 1 along the coast is a blast on this thing)

Strength:

Beautiful workmanship, single bike handling, ultra smooth ride for stoker. Excellent handling at high speed.

Weakness:

Touchy at low speed due to 73 degree head angle.

Smooth ride, the Softride beam works great. I think it adds a little weight. The beam can be bouncy for some pedal strokes but my wife smoothed her pedal stroke out quickly and my kids don't have any problem. The beam is harder to adjust than a seat post.

The bike is fast (50+mph so far)on the big hills, and climbs well for a tandem. Steering is more like my single than on a Santana or Burley.
Bottom line: My wife loves it and that's all I need to get her riding with me.
