Strength:

comfortable and low price

Weakness:

problems with cleats. see above

Bought these shoes because they weren't to expensive and because they take a wide range of cleats. Was surprised by how good they were. I have had no problems with hot spots and they are very comfortable. However it was quite difficult to fit my SM-SH11 SPD-SL cleats because the supplied screws weren't long enough to reach the quite recessed threads. Was able to get longer screws from a hardware store but it was a bit of a pain. SPD cleats can be fitted without any problems.

Strength:

Light, comfortable, no 'hot-spots' and great to look at!

Weakness:

None at the moment. Not as 'bomb proof' as the Shimano R122

I was having problems with my Shimano R122 road shoes, in terms of 'hot spots', and was thinking of the Sidi Genius. But before I sunk big bucks into a shoe that I still might have problems with, tried the Diadora ALU and have been very pleased. Very comfortable and supports the foot well.
