Strength:

price, stiffness, ratchet, looks, fits true to size.

Weakness:

very slippery on pavement, could use a rubber bumper on the heel for grip and to reduce wear.

Cheap (discontinued) carbon soled shoe that's very stiff with excellent power transfer. Snug fit for a medium width foot, but not too tight. Very flat in the toe box (top to bottom), which allows less wiggle room. Good closure system (ratchet mech. on the Altea II plus). Looks good.

Strength:

Stiff, adequate ventilation. Cheap.

Weakness:

Far too narrow.

A well constructed shoe at a bargain price. Solid carbon sole. I have a narrow foot, but found these to be too narrow.

Strength:

Fit good, even with a wide foot (sized up one euro size for that)
Easy straps, so easy a chimp could do it :p
Good heel cupping
Ventilation
Price
2 and 3 bolt compatible

Weakness:

Carbon sole scuffs up easily, but that happens with any shoe.

Good shoe. One of the few I was able to find in a very large size (49) at a decent price. Simple closure system, holds my heels in well, ventilated nicely too. Very stiff, great power transfer

Strength:

Very stiff and light... good price right now because nike is getting out of cycling.

Weakness:

These are very hard to walk in (if thats your thing) Also not the best insole shape.

I bought these when I bought my new bike. I had been using specialized body geometry shoes for about 4 years. The difference is night and day. Now I feel like I'm pushing down on a platform not just a small pedal. These shoe are freakin' Stiff!! The only downside is that the insoles in these shoes really don't match the shape of my feet very well. (I'll be getting some aftermarket insoles)

Strength:

Carbon fiber, lightweight, comfortable upper, breathable insole (little holes drilled into the insole to wick away sweat), and so far, durable

Weakness:

High MSRP; although many websites offer generous discounts.

This is a very lightweight, sturdy pair of shoes. The carbon fiber has no give so all your pedaling energy can be transfered to the pedals. The straps are easy to adjust and, all in all it is a sexy looking shoe
