Strength:

This bike is great for the travelling cyclist that wants a full size bike to ride but doesn't want to pay baggage fees. One good thing about a full size bike is being able to find standard parts in a pinch. If you are mechanically minded you'll find it packs better the more disassembled you can make it,just give yourself more reassembly time.I take off the cranks and fork and use foam pipe insulation to protect the frame. I also take off the rear derr. and use a steel dummy rear axel w/a QR to protect the rear drop-outs.Get some "plastic-cardboard" and cut some 28-inch squares for the in- sides and it's as good as a hard case!

Weakness:

Make sure you buy some extra "clamps" for the downtube/BB connection when you are getting the frame and throw them in the bag right away because you can be sure that NO ONE will have them where you are going. The QR cable connectors are nice but if you are riding the bike for more than 3 or 4 days at a time, use a standard cable on the rear brake for safety.Supplied cable adjusters for shifters did not work well, install your own in-line barrel-style instead.

All in all,a great bike from a great guy! I have 4 now,(steel road and cross, tit. road and mtn) and everyone of my cyclist-friends who have ridden them agrees they are worth the money and effort to build(and re-build!) Don't kick yourself and say"I should have brought my bike"!!!
