Strength:

Rather light for the money. A solid hybrid frame for trails or street riding. The lack of a suspension means that a good amount of power goes to the road. Durable (not components!).Upright position is great for commuting. Very fun and versatile.

Weakness:

What you'd expect for the price: Poor, cheap, component selections (esp. derailleur system)! Look into replacing pedals (they slip) and saddle (it bent after a fair amount of riding/too casual for my taste).

All in all I really like the bike. I used to use it for commuting to school, now I use it whenever I feel like getting an exercise in and keeping the car parked. If you are preparing to ride over 20 or so miles, you'll want to replace the cushy seat with something better suited for long rides. The frame is solid, but the components should be replaced in time.
