Cube Bikes Litening Super HPC Road Bike

DESCRIPTION

High end road bike with great looks and weight saving SRAM 2x11 components. Ready for racing, with a top spot in the overall weight ranking. The tapered steerer delivers optimum stiffness and a better distribution of forces. The thin seat stays and a flat top tube offer flex for comfort. Using high modulus carbon fibre we managed to reduce the frame weight to 860g. RFR geometry delivers a sporty, stretched position for maximum acceleration and agile riding performance. The Super HPC carbon fibre frame made with Advanced Twin Mold Technology features full carbon bearing housings. The Syntace P6 Highflex seatpost and Fi`zi:k Antares saddle deliver extra comfort.

RATING

Strength:

Strong and light weight 800+ g frame Under-rated model (not many riders are familiar with CUBE, outside of Germany or Europe for that matter) so you might be able to find a used one for a good price Internal cable routing Light weight Syntace P6 seat post with good flex Fits 25 and 28C tyres Bulky down tube and bottom bracket minimise flex, at least I couldn't feel the frame "twisting" when powering through the pedals Has 2x pieces of aluminum plates just behind the chain ring, to protect the frame from chain drop damage/scratch

Weakness:

White paint scheme will stand out in the crowd but easily smeared by grease or tyre rub. (There is also a dark/black paint scheme available if that is a worry)
