Strength:

Comfortable and smooth. Very good component setup, 105 shifters and FD, Ultegtra RD. Carbon fork and seat stays. Great year-end price.

Weakness:

Probably wheel set and tires but you always want to upgrade something don't you?

My first road bike and I love it so far. I narrowed my choices to this bike and a Felt F75 which I was leaning towards from the get go. But after nearly 2 hours of trying to find the right fit on the Felt I concluded that the Fuji was a more natural comfortable fit. From top to bottom the Felt probably beats the Fuji in components but the main components were equal. Plus the Fuji in bright yellow and black has a lot more pop! I've seen a couple of previous reviews saying the seat is uncomfortable. I don't know what seat was on those bikes but I find the Selle San Marco Ponza Racing saddle on this model very comfortable. It was one of first differences I noticed between this bike and the Felt.

Reynolds 853 Steel Frame
Full Shimano 105

Weakness:

A little heavy
Heavy wheels
Hard seat

This is for the 2004 Fuji Roubaix Pro. I've put about 1500 miles on it in a season and a half. Full Shimano 105 throughout, Ritchey cockpit, etc. I've been impressed with the Reynolds 853 steel frame; it dampens the road quite nicely yet provides snap when you need it. I upgraded the wheels to DT Swiss 340 Classics and that really helped the weight, though I kept the Ritchey OCR's for training/rain riding. So far I haven't had to adjust anything on the bike except replace the seat, bar tape. I may put on a carbon fiber seat post, but that might be a little fancy. Plus this whole setup is about class, not the latest and greatest. Steel is a steal!

Strength:

comfortable ride, pretty stiff for hard efforts.

Weakness:

could be stiffer for me-I'm 200 lbs. Short head tube is for yoga students, but many bikes are similar so Fuji not out of ordinary. Could be stiffer BB for bigger riders.

Got frame as warranty repalcement for Fuji Team.
I enter a few races every year, so I ride fairly hard, and I'm a 200 pounder.
the Fuji Roubaix Pro, Reynolds 853 Steel is a great all round bike- if you can deal with the short head tube. It caused me to get a high angled stem with a lot of spacers on my fork. Handles a little funny in the front end. I'd get one again, but not unless head tube was longer- won't happen, Fuji has had same geometry forever.

carbon fork and inlays, only 19 lbs. complete 105.

Weakness:

Bad shaped saddle but got used to it.

Good components, all Shimano 105 for under 1k. Was looking for a light bike (double)for morning and afterwork commute (35mi.) Fast and handles great!

853 steel! carbon fork. Price! 105 shifters work great. Quality frame!

Weakness:

Wheels, saddle. Had trouble with 105 front and rear derailleaurs so I upgraded to ultegra!!

This bike is a pleasure to ride. Its lite and lively 853 steel frame is great at cutting down harshness but encourages fast sprints with its efficient power delivery.

853 steel frame Full 105s Fairly Light

Weakness:

bad seat bad seat post

I bought this bike because it is made out of 853 steel and that is reeally nice. It only weighs 19.7 pounds stock. This bike is incredibly smooth compared to my friends al. bikes that were more expensive, it is so smooth do to that it is made of steel. All of the componenets have done really well so far and so the 105s work well. The seat is not the greatest but no bike come with a nice seat so I just put a flite Ti on there and it was better. I have been going on anywhere from 20-130m rides and they have all been very smooth. My friend used the bike and said it was harsh after 20m, then he got bike shorts and that solved everything. Looks beautiful!

Weakness:

I've had a number of problems with the Shimano 105s. The seat will obsolutely kill you after a couple of hours.

I recently switched from MTB to Road. Thought I was getting a good bike seeing how it was reduced in price by several hundred dollars. After a few hundred miles I now know you get what you pay for! I suppose this is a good entry bike for someone only planning on riding 20 - 40 miles at a pop but anything beyond that really is tough! I just finished a century on Sunday and I'm still walking sideways. I test rode a Madone 5.2 and can tell you there certainly is a difference! I suggest you really consider how many miles you intend to ride before buying this bike! If a casual 20+ miles two or three times a week then go for it. If you want to rack up the miles you had better go test ride a few more bikes!
