Strength:

This bike has a chrome moly Reynolds 853 frame. It make for a nice stiff frame and the welds and grinding are excellent. It comes with great Ultegra components and the shifts are nice and quick. Brakes are rim type but do an excellent job of stopping. The seat is not the best so you may want to upgrade this part. Rims and tires hold the pressure quite well.

Weakness:

I have not had any chain problems at this point. When I replace it will likely do an upgrade, but don't anticipate that for another year or two.

Strength:

853 Frame. Ultegra group.

Weakness:

Saddle, tires, Chain.

I wanted a new bike with ergo shifters. My old Cannondale 3.0 was too stiff for my aging back. I knew I wanted a Reynold 853 frame and Ultegra components. This bike was a good value. Super clean welds. Same frame as last years Fuji Marsellies. Ritchey dropouts. Very comfortable ride. Doesn't seem flexy at all. Tracks straight. Stout Ritchey wheels nicely tensioned. Cheap seat, tires, chain? Ultegra group works wonderfully. Same bike sold as Mercier Serpens 853. Reynolds Uzo Comp fork a little harsh over expansion joints though. Black Ritchey bars, stem, wheels, post make the bike look a little dull.
