Strength:

Strong.

Weakness:

May be a few pennies more expensive than cheap spokes. Straight gauge is a little heavier than butted original spokes.

Excellent replacement for cheap spokes, strong and reliable. The original spokes would break routinely after 2,000 miles (it was a new bike, only 4 months old, I weigh only 135 lbs.). Tried another new wheel as warranty replacenent, its spokes failed after another 1,000 miles. The dealer then rebuilt the wheel with 14 gauge DT spokes (same rim and hub), no more problems.

No name spokes that came stock on GT Legato 1.0 commuter bike rear wheel.
