    Strength:

Little rolling resistance, deep tread is great in wet conditions-it's fun to hear these tires hiss through standing water.

    Weakness:

Puncture resistance is poor, which I attribute to the deep and narrow tread design. It seems custom-made to collect all the things you don't want your tires to collect!

I ride in a difficult environment, on the shoulders of public roads and very often at night or before daybreak--hence, avoiding debris is difficult to impossible. That having been said, I have been sorely disappointed by the puncture resistance of these tires. Like other reviews, I suspect that the deep tread grabs and holds small chunks of glass and metal that are difficult to see and dislodge. I'm getting new tires to day with a shallower tread.

    Strength:

Relatively light weight, extreme durability, easy rollin', punctureless riding if you stay on the road

    Weakness:

little stones that get stuck in the threads of the tyre; if Michelin changes that design this tyre is perfect. Almost, because the grip when taking a good turn doesn't seem to be very steady.

If you stay on the road most of the time, this is the tyre to get and to hold. This is my second pair of Transworld City's in 4 year; I've driven at least 12.000 km, most of them with luggage. One flat tyre in 4 years, the durability of this tyre is amazing. I don't get off the road many times, the grip of this tyre doesn't seem to fit riding through sandy or muddy terrain.

    Strength:

    Smmoth rolling.

    Weakness:

Puncture and noise when you start a turn.

I've got 9 flats over 600 kms! My girl-friend who rides along with me got NONE. I had great confidence about Michelin tires since I rode them on my car for many years. The problem seems to be the narrow and deep treads that catch all the débris.

    Strength:

Inexpensive, highly visible (due to the reflective tape, smooth-rolling, durable.

    Weakness:

Not very puncture-resistant, but I may be expecting too much out of a bicycle tire.

I've put over 1000 miles on these tires. I got the version with the reflective stripes in the sidewalls. They are quite vsible at night. I have had quite a few flats with these tires due to glass puncturing the tread. These tires have inverted tread which hides brown beer-bottle glass. Failure to get all the glass out the tread just wastes the next tube. I'm not sure all the flats are due to the tires, though. My riding partner has Continentals and gets more flats than I do, so I suspect it has to do with the enviroment we ride in. My back tire has numerous small holes in it due to glass punctures, but, after 1000 miles, the tread is still in good shape.
