Fezzari has just rolled out a new $399 commuter bike dubbed Simbi as in simple bicycle. The consumer-direct seller calls the cruiser a fun, high tech, low maintenance, 3-speed belt drive city bike. Features include an alloy frame with horizontal dropouts and split stay design for belt drive compatibility, mounts for front and rear racks, and a CNC machined alloy chainring to ensure a snug fit with the belt drive system.
A Shimano Nexus 3-speed hub provides three internal gears that require minimal maintenance, and deliver smooth, reliable shifting. The cockpit consists of a ‘M’ shaped swept-back riser bar, synthetic leather stitched grips, and coil sprung comfort saddle that’s wrapped in synthetic leather. The front hand brake and rear coaster brake take care of stopping duties. To learn more check out this video.
The Simbi comes in two frame styles, Hi-Rise and Low-rise, with two sizes per style and four frame colors: onyx black, bayside blue, white-rose pearl, and seafoam blue. Riders can also customize their Simbi bike by adding optional accessories such as full coverage fenders, alloy basket with wood bottom, alloy rear rack, and a modern-retro LED light set.
“Simbi is simple, easy, affordable and most important, fun,” says Fezzari founder Chris Washburn. “By relying on our design and manufacturing experience, we are able to offer a simple, clean, and modern bike with retro styling that allows the non-biker to get out and enjoy the fun of two wheels, while packing all the features that even the most advanced cyclist will enjoy.”
