Low weight and enhanced aerodynamics are the marquee features of the brand new Merida Scultura, which is being ridden by the Lampre-Merida WorldTour team at the ongoing Giro d’Italia.

Merida says that the previous generation was light and stiff, but had lousy aero performance. But now aerodynamics have been incorporated in to a bike which has a frameset that weighs a claimed 750 grams (yes, you read that right).
