Pain and suffering are part of the cycling equation. Climbing high mountain passes or giving your all in a full-on sprint are supposed to hurt a little. But that pain should be reserved for legs and lungs, not other parts of your body such as shoulders. Alas many cyclists experience shoulder pain while riding.
